About UK Websystems

Formed in 2002 as part of the Richardsons Group, based in Wellington, Somerset UK Websystems quickly became established as a provider of value for money, powerful and reliable websites. The Richardsons Group were like many other Companies, they had a need to be represented on the World Wide Web. Initially Richardsons commissioned a local company to build a website with email facilities, and we merrily ran along with it for a few years. In 2002 Richardsons Group Managing Director Mark Edgecombe decided that the only way to get exactly what he wanted in both web design and IT support was to do it himself. He set about putting together a team of special people with just the right mixture of skill, experience, and personal commitment to quality service.

UK Websystems was formed initially to service the needs of the Richardsons Group, it proved so successful that a decision was made to offer our services to other companies. However, in April 2004 a management buyout by UKWS' head of systems & programming, Steve Childs provided UK Websystems with a new direction, new inspiration and resulted in improved service for our existing clients. We also took this opportunity to give our website a facelift and introduce the new UKWebsystems Logo.
