When oil tank supplier, The Derwent Group, wanted to venture into the world
of online sales, UK Websystems' award winning eCommerce solution was selected. The website was designed by their preferred graphic designers and we then took that design and converted into for use on the website.
The website is built using our standard eCommerce solution ( eShopsUK),
which integrates into Protx to provide real-time credit card processing facilities
and our own PDF engine which results in the customers receiving high quality PDF
order confirmations and Invoices automatically
by email.
The online shop is maintained entirely by Derwent, they have full control over
adding new products or making changes to existing products online via the specially
written administration website.
Also available are a multitude of administration reports to allow them to view
orders and product page view counts so that they can monitor, in detail the traffic
going through their shop.
All of this is standard with the UK Websystems eCommerce Solution.
Added onto that, the website has its own News story administration system, allowing
them to add new news items at any time which automatically maintains the RSS feed
for the news articles from the
